It was actually my very first blog, about books.
Reviewing.
So, I thought I'd throw it up here.
For memories.
Nostalgia.
There are so many many things that I find wrong with it now, then again, I still like it. It's very telling of how I am with reading.
24-48 hours is the typical time frame it takes me to finish a book. And yes that's still the case with two littles in the house, but mostly because I read at night.
Seriously, I will stay up all night long just to finish one.
I do fall in love with fictional characters. Not all, but some.
I am obsessive and passionate about certain books.
One more chapter usually turns into a finished book or 7 more chapters, depending on if I've just started it or was already half way through it.
Enjoy....I think the books kind of date it, but that's okay.
p.s. be kind ;P it's not everyday I share something I've drawn.

Ha! Stick figures are cool. I wish I could have honed my skill but no matter how many times I asked for Art as my number 1 elective in high school I didn't get in until Senior year. boo hiss! I did take figure drawing classes in college, but I don't know how much that helped. Gods and Kings sounds good. Historical?

DeleteYeah, reading has considerable slowed with my little one in the world now. I still devoured books when he was a nursling. Now that he's a wild little boy, there's not a moment's peace except what I spend blogging. A really good book will take a week. A mediocre one or one with heavy material... much longer.
